Cooking Demonstration
You won’t want to miss this live demonstration on how to make a perfect Fluffy Omelet with Amy Chaplin.
RECIPE FOR AMY CHAPLIN’S FLUFFY OMELET
Ingredients:
- 4 Eggs (6-8 if you want a backup plan – we’ll be separating them)
- 4-8 oz. White or cremini mushrooms (zucchini would also work or a combination of the two)
- 1 large Shallot (leek or a small yellow or red onion will also work)
- 1 oz. Parmesan cheese, shredded (cheddar, mozzarella, or other melty cheese will work)
- 1/4 t. Cream of Tartar (key ingredient but can sub lemon juice or white vinegar if needed)
- 2 T. Butter
- 1 T. Olive Oil
- Kosher SalT
- 1 T. Balsamic Vinegar (optional)
Equipment:
- Cooktop and Oven
- 12″ nonstick skillet you can put in the oven
- Stand mixer or hand mixer (or hand whisk if you want an arm workout)
- Silicone spatula
